It receives greater time on ESPN than the golf ratings did.
And as a result -- of the weather, not ESPN -- the complete first round of the Hyundai Tournament of Champions were given cancelled. See the quite tropical climate?
Nobody even finished nine holes. NOBODY. Only two gamers have been underneath par, Webb Simpson at -three and Jonas Blixt at -1. Needless to say, they are not particularly glad to have their rounds wiped out.
Scott Stallings, however, is elated as he turned into already 7. The operative word right here is WAS. Everybody is lower back to even par now.
But with more wind expected for Saturday, will they definitely get 36 holes in these days? I'll be greatly surprised if they do.
At least this is Wild Card Weekend inside the NFL. If the climate in Hawaii would not cooperate, for us enthusiasts there is continually soccer.
But I don't assume that is what the PGA Tour had in mind.
Here's the cancellation notice at PGATOUR.com. And the photo came from this post at SBNation.
