The LPGA is gambling this week although it is not being televised. The event is the Mizuno Classic, a co-subsidized occasion between the LPGA and the JLPGA. It has a fairly lengthy records; it is taken region every 12 months since 1973. I bet that makes this the 41st version. I've included some images from the Pro-Am Gala (you may discover a lot greater on the tournament web page). The first indicates a set of the ladies; Stacy Lewis is within the center of the lower back row, Jiyai Shin on the left cease of the front row. (I assume it is Karrie Webb on the proper give up.)
As ordinary, Tony Jesselli has a preview of the occasion at his blog and the Constructivist has a put up approximately who is warm moving into. In addition, Tony's post consists of a listing of 12 gamers he thinks have a terrific hazard while TC has a separate put up list his 12. (Apparently they're taking part in a opposition at the Seoul Sisters web page. You can test out the PakPicker hyperlink in TC's final post.) Here's Christina Kim and Danielle Kang, neither of whom was picked with the aid of my colleagues. Kang is just off the lead. ;-)
The first round (simplest three this week) is pretty much finished as I write this, and you have one leader (at -4) with nine gamers a shot returned in second. The LPGA leaderboard is here. I assume each Tony and TC have two players in this Top10... But TC could have performed higher to take the 5 players in his "who is hot" put up. Three of them are within the Top10!
For my American readers, the most effective American in the Top10 is Brittany Lincicome (-3). Danielle Kang, Brittany Lang, and Austin Ernst are T11 (-2). And Stacy Lewis, the protecting champion, is T20 (-1). (That's Stacy inside the picture.)
If you're interested in the women, don't forget to test the LPGA leaderboard this weekend. The Mizuno Classic finishes up on Saturday night time -- at the least it is going to be Saturday night time right here in America -- and seeing that this occasion doesn't have a massive number of LPGA contributors gambling, it is entirely feasible the winner should grasp a Tour card.
