Tim Clark with Canadian Open trophy

In many ways Jim Furyk and Tim Clark are opposites. For instance, Jim is 6'2" tall even as Tim is most effective 5'7". Both have barely uncommon swings -- Jim because of that uncommon looping motion, Tim because of bodily boundaries in his forearms.

And yet both Jim Furyk and Tim Clark are very similar as nicely. Both have had tough patches during the last 3 or four years -- Jim with near calls and Tim with injuries. Both have performed well (and gained) in Canada within the beyond. And both are gambling properly now... However best one ought to win.

It became going to be tough both way, because each have been likeable guys suffering to get their first win in some time.

The exact information is that neither performed badly, although Jim probably isn't happy with that 1-under spherical he shot. (He's quite plenty locked up a Ryder Cup berth though, so he will be satisfied about that.) But Tim one way or the other located a warm putter and rode it all of the manner to the winner's circle, taking pictures a 5-underneath round that centered round a 30 on his again nine.

That's some large capturing from a quick knocker! (Tim best averages round 270 yards off the tee.) I guess period is a little overrated...

But what isn't overrated is the whole experience of winning. After all, if you don't win, how can you even hope to receive the coveted Limerick Summary?

In Quebec, the golf season?S too brief.

And some say Tim’s too short. His retort

Is ?I played the back nine

In just 30. This time

It’s MY trophy, I’m proud to report!” The photo came from this page at PGATOUR.com.
