Ben Martin hopes that what takes place in Vegas does NOT stay in Vegas. He?D like to take it to some of tournaments going forward.
Of route, it is difficult to replicate what takes place at TPC Summerlin. That direction is designed for low scores, and gamers come to Vegas knowing they may need to gamble a chunk in the event that they wish to hit the large one. But after a 3rd-spherical sixty two that gave him the in a single day lead, Ben needed to wonder if Lady Luck had kissed him goodbye and thrown her lot in with some of the opposite excessive rollers. No depend what he did, it seemed he simply could not get it underneath par on Sunday.
And those excessive rollers have been truely hitting their numbers, Kevin Streelman being the person with the most up to date hand. He had gained his first match by making birdies at the ultimate 7 holes... And Sunday in Vegas, he made five in the remaining 7 holes, narrowly lacking a sixth at 18.
But Lady Luck is one of the greater fickle women in Vegas. As without problems as she left him, Martin located her back at his side when a thinned pressure on the par-four 15th took a fortuitous hop onto the inexperienced. That 2-putt birdie, observed by an eagle at the par-five sixteenth, jumped him beyond Streelman and placed him within the lead for proper. A very last unexpected birdie on the difficult 18th gave him a 2-stroke win.
The fallout from this win won't be confined to Vegas either. Martin's first win will keep him on Tour via the 2017 season and ship him to the Masters, amongst different matters. And of route, it wins him the coveted Limerick Summary. But don't worry, Ben -- I may not tell if you don't:

But he DID find a manner.
