Yes, Jordan Still Crawls

I knew that might get your interest... And yes, I imply Jordan works out with actual crawling moves.

Golf Digest posted this video on Friday. It features Jordan's fitness trainer Damon Goddard demonstrating three exercises that use crawling as a golf exercise.

The 3 sports he demonstrates are:

  • Half Bear Crawl
  • Half Crab Reach (a rotation move)
  • Lateral Bear Crawl
These three movements focus on working the opposite sides of your body, which is how most human motion works. (This is Physics 101, folks -- for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. If the upper left side of your body moves forward, the lower right side also moves forward, and so on.) By working your body this way, they help increase your core and shoulder strength as well as your balance and coordination.

The key element to do not forget is that your knees do NOT contact the floor.

I've visible lots extra tricky techniques of doing those exercises but that is the first time I've seen them executed in a small region. But don't let the simplicity of those movements fool you. A beneficial side effect is that they'll additionally assist your staying power -- agree with me, those physical games are harder than they appearance.
