Looks Like the Freakish Week Came After All...

In the day past's "5 to Watch" post I wrote:

And so, buoyed by last week's winning pick of So Yeon Ryu -- after that freakish ruling totally changed the final round -- I'm going to bet on another freakish week. I'm taking Westwood to get his first major this week in a low-scoring Masters plagued by bad weather.
I didn't have Some thing like this in mind!

Dustin Johnson

Tim Rosaforte posted this document at golfdigest.Com, and it is about as up-to-date as any complete article I can find as I'm scripting this (after middle of the night on the US East Coast). I did discover this tweet from Matt Ginella, sent kind of three.Five hours ago:

Checked in with @CoachJoeyD...An optimistic update: "@DJohnsonPGA is moving better and headed to bed." #themasters

The trick, of path, is that nobody knows exactly whether or not that is a bruise or something greater critical. At least DJ has the ultimate time of the day nowadays, so he's were given the most amount of time to get more healthy.

Add this little coincidence to the bad weather it really is expected -- and for those of you outside america, that is part of a the front that has already precipitated serious damage no longer some distance from Augusta -- and we should have a in reality strange brew of situations converging this weekend.

Who is aware of what new strangeness may emerge from Augusta National nowadays? Depending on how DJ fares, maybe Lee Westwood isn't always this sort of terrible guess in the end!
