Tommy Fleetwood on Chipping (Video)

This video of Tommy Fleetwood's chipping technique is set four years old. It has some interesting ideas approximately how he does it.

Much of Tommy's method is pretty wellknown. He chips from an open stance and makes use of special clubs for unique period shots.

But I observed it interesting that he uses four unique wedges for his chipping when many players could use brief irons. I wager that's just a private choice, as is the choice to apply one wedge or many golf equipment to chip with.

But a much more likely tip as a way to try is this:

Tommy says that when he wants to hit his chips higher, he widens his stance. This also allows him to put more spin on the shots, and he notes that you can't really put spin on the shorter chips. This kind of knowledge could really help you when playing from difficult lies.

This is best a 5-minute video, so it's really worth it slow to look at it and see if some thing specially jumps out at you. After all, Tommy's short game is a huge part of the cause that he's turn out to be the steady competitor that he's.
