A brief shout out to the USA soccer crew for breaking a seventy five-year winless streak in opposition to Mexico IN Mexico. Not most effective did they pull out a 1-0 win, however they did it with some solid defense down the stretch in Mexico City -- yes, in the altitude and the skinny air.
Granted, this became only a "pleasant" however mixed with our first-ever win over Italy in advance this 12 months, that is extraordinarily encouraging for us US football fans. Maybe the guys will eventually seize as much as the women! ;-)
