In SC It's Stormy, in Ohio It's... the KLPGA

While the guys were given rained out at the PGA Championship in South Carolina, the ladies up in Ohio on the Jamie Farr Toledo Classic had no hassle playing at all.

It just looks like they got their tours blended up. There are 4 gamers tied for the lead... And they're all Korean. I.K. Kim, Jiyai Shin, Hee Kyung Seo, and So Yeon Ryu are at -11. That's some quite serious firepower for the rest of the sector to triumph over.

But it would not prevent there. Oh no. Of the 3 gamers tied one stroke again -- and a couple of strokes in advance of the relaxation of the sphere -- Inbee Park and Chella Choi are also Korean. Only bad little Mika Miyazato isn't always... And he or she's Japanese.

I'm sensing a exact Asian summer season in Ohio.

Perhaps this is not a wonder. After all, Se Ri Pak has gained the Farr Classic five separate times, so Toledo is familiar ground for the Korean players. Still, it surprises me that some of massive call gamers did not even make the cut -- Yani Tseng (nonetheless at the slide), Ai Miyazato, Morgan Pressel, Michelle Wie, and Azahara Munoz, simply to call a few. And the larger names who made the cut -- at the least, those who aren't Korean -- possibly may not be a thing these days.

It looks like the ladies may have a sprint to the finish nowadays. I suspect the Koreans may have an awful lot better results right here than they did on the Olympics. (In case you didn't pay attention, they simply neglected medals in each volleyball and handball Saturday.)

As for the guys... Well, here are the standings for my "five to Watch" (3rd round nevertheless in development):

  • Keegan Bradley: T21 (+1 thru 16 holes)
  • Louis Oosthuizen: T35 (+3, round complete)
  • Thorbjorn Olesen: T43 (+4, round complete)
  • Luke Donald: T65 (+8, round complete)
  • Rory McIlroy: T1 (-6 thru 9 holes)
Of course, Rory (after 9 holes) and Vijay (after 7 holes) are tied for the lead, with Adam Scott (after 9 holes) a single shot back. Nice rebound for Adam there, and it certainly sets up today for quite a shootout.

However, except Sang Moon Bae ( eight) makes a document-breaking run these days, I do not suppose the Korean men will healthy the ladies this week.
