Charlie Beljan Plans to Play

I'm no longer sure DisneyWorld was the happiest place in the world for Charlie Beljan Friday. He shot -eight and has the lead by 3 strokes, but they needed to bring him off on a stretcher and, after numerous mins of care at the direction, took him to the health center.

You can click on here to hear the five-minute smartphone interview he did with GC later inside the evening. And if you'd alternatively read the authentic GC submit written earlier than the interview, click on this hyperlink.

Just to get you up-to-date on the situation: Charlie's had this problem before -- elevated heart rate, shortness of breath, heart palpitations, and feeling faint. The doctors don't know what's causing it, and apparently they can't predict when it's going to strike. Talk about a bummer!

Charlie struggles near the end of his round

The paramedics had to check him out on the range earlier than he went out to play because he failed to feel nicely, and that they observed him across the path. They clearly didn't like his blood stress readings at the tenth hollow, and Charlie says he does not remember tons of the final third of his spherical.

Given that Charlie's just about the longest hitter on Tour, it can no longer surprise you that he made eagles at some point of his round. Chalk one more up for that old saying, "Beware the wounded golfer." I'm positive that wasn't written approximately players who want an ambulance so as to finish the spherical, however...

Charlie said that, except the medical doctors tell him he's in hazard, he plans to play today. With his nice threat to get his first win, it's hard responsible him -- as he said, it's a dream come genuine.

Hopefully some of the Disney magic will rub off on him and he's going to have a wholesome finish to his week -- healthy for each his body and his trophy case.
