Today I'm heading out on holiday with pals. While I'll still be updating the weblog with new cloth, I'll be visiting these days and most of day after today, with the identical time table subsequent weekend. (And no -- like Phil earlier this year, Tiger fell short. He ended up just tying the course record of 61 and could only open up a 7-shot lead on the rest of the field. Ho-hum...)
It's no longer that Inbee is playing bad. She simply ended up on the incorrect quit of the draw, as from time to time takes place on the Open. Winds of 20 mph hit the afternoon wave, and the fine our major chasing famous person may want to manage became a spherical of 73, 1-over.
The hassle is that she's now 8 shots off the lead. She's T22, not first or 2d after 36 holes as she has been in her preceding three majors.
If you need responsible some thing, you may blame it on her final eight holes of the primary round. After going 6-beneath within the first 10 holes, she misplaced 3 pictures on the manner in -- a real no-no on a calm day while anybody changed into setting up low ratings.
In her favor? More winds are predicted today but Inbee will go out early.
