This short video is a modern one from Butch Harmon that I discovered Tuesday on golfdigest.Com. I'm posting it because it illustrates a specific manner to use the jump of your wedge, just like in yesterday's Azinger video.
Butch calls this shot "the clip." This is how Steve Stricker performs this type of shot... And you know how tons I like Stricker's method.
The primary method in this shot is the fairly wristless huge takeaway and stroke through the shot. Note that the ball is within the middle of Butch's stance so the club shaft might be vertical while he really hits the ball. That's the way you make certain you operate the leap at the membership.
