Inbee Park May Be Done for the Season

The 2nd round of the Blue Bay LPGA occasion is underway as I'm penning this, however Inbee Park is not in the subject. And it's entirely viable that we might not see her for the rest of the season, as there are most effective 3 more occasions after this one.

Inbee Park during first round of Blue Bay LPGA

According to GC, Inbee withdrew from the event after the first spherical:

Park withdrew Thursday night after taking pictures a 75 within the first round and complaining of pain within the middle finger of her left hand. She instructed LPGA staff that she has been dealing with a cyst on the finger for approximately three weeks, and he or she is unsure while she might be capable of tee it up again.
We've already seen how a cyst can disrupt a player's season. Azahara Munoz had to have a cyst removed from her hand earlier this season. She missed roughly a month and a half during March and April recovering from surgery. And Lydia Ko had a cyst removed back in 2014, sidelining her for around the same amount of time.

While Inbee really hasn't stated some thing about surgical treatment at this point -- and a few cysts can be efficaciously treated with antibiotics, among other possibilities -- the LPGA season will lead to 3 weeks. That would not depart an awful lot time for any type of treatment to take effect.

Before the Blue Bay LPGA started, the talk became approximately the struggle for World #1 among Inbee and Lydia. Even after the primary spherical, the LPGA became already projecting what Inbee needed to do if she wanted to regain the name this week.

But now this is all simply talk. Until we pay attention precisely what Inbee intends to do about this cyst, it looks like Lydia is firmly entrenched at World #1 and Inbee may also begin to collapse the rankings from loss of play.

In the meantime, permit's all just desire Inbee a short restoration.
