This is one of those cool "why didn't they tell me that?" movies. GOLFTEC's Director of Teaching, Zach Lambeck, explains why hybrids do not behave like your other golf equipment.
That is the sort of easy thing but... Why do not they tell us approximately this whilst we purchase a hybrid?
Equipment construction detail: The sweet spot of a hybrid is not in the middle of the face, but closer to the hosel. WHICH MEANS that center face contact is actually hitting on the toe of the club!
Clearly you may need to exercise a little to discover precisely how near the hosel to hit the ball. But isn't it first-rate to understand that those squirrelly shots you've been hitting aren't your fault? You just need to locate your hybrid's sweet spot!
Conversely, this additionally approach that, if you have hassle drawing the ball, hitting out of the center of the face must help you get that ball moving the proper manner. And in case your fade is simply too massive, hitting out of the middle of the face must assist you get that ball flying a chunk straighter.
Isn't a little bit of knowledge -- at least, the correct little bit of knowledge -- a wonderful thing?
