We sincerely need to take a second. After all, Isaiah Salinda went 5 more holes to get the individual name at the Western Intercollegiate.

Salinda performs for Stanford, so it is probably no wonder to you that Stanford received the group title as well.
I'm going to link you to Brentley Romine's article over at golfchannel.Com for the info, however I did need to mention something Salinda's teach stated because it would help some of you.
Romine writes: "Stanford head coach Conrad Ray credits the development to Salinda learning how to play well without his best stuff." He also notes that Salinda told his coach how proud he was to have won when he wasn't playing his best.
Scoring when you don't have your best stuff is mainly about strategy -- learning what you can still do on those days when your game is off and making a game plan that uses those strengths. It's also about keeping your head and not getting down on yourself.
Anybody can learn to do those things, folks. Anybody.
Ironically, the NCAA would not apprehend playoffs so Salinda and his fellow competitor (and teammate) Brandon Wu share the man or woman identify in their statistics. (Yet one greater factor the NCAA desires to exchange.) But all of us realize who the winner is. Congratulations, Isaiah!
